A project very different from the micro worlds of molecular and cellular microcosms, here was a fun way to inform about the dangers of influenza and efforts to improve vaccines.
This project was focused around a Maya pipeline, and I was supporting with modeling, rigging, and animating in Blender, as well as some vapor effects in Houdini.

Building the little outdoor environment was a great time. The majority was done in Blender, while all the tile work was created proceadurally in Houdini. We could have used a texture map and displacement maps, but creating some very optimized meshes in Houdini we could get the same look while saving on scene size and render memory.
